Pillow Talk: The Innocence Of Children

This morning while I sat in the office, the cleaner walked in with her two beautiful grand – children. At first, I paid no attention to it because I was deeply engrossed in my work but it’s almost as if God was saying to me that we need to protect the innocence of our children. They started singing and playing and I heard a still voice within me saying “THE INNOCENCE OF CHILDREN”. In that very moment, the need for protection stood so tall in my mind, I decided that tonight’s Pillow Talk would be on they very same. I guess God was on a roll today because as I browsed through my reader feed, there it was, the appropriate post, at the appropriate time from The Abused Exposed With Secret Angel. Children are very important and are our future. Yes they are. What we deposit into their lives is what will rule the world to come. If we deposit hate, hurt, abuse, anger and all the other negative elements, then a world of revenge is what we will create. PROTECT THE INNOCENCE OF OUR CHILDREN. PLEASE.

Poem: Children… (Proverbs 22:6)

Cherish them, my dear.

from God up above.
To hold and cherish,
and raise them with love.

God made us parents,
to teach them the way.
He entrusted us with them,
for we are all His anyway.

Hold them. Love them.
These instructions were clear.
Cherish them, my dear.

Protect the children.
No child should be used.
They are gifts from God,
not to be hurt and abused.

For we all have to answer,
for our behaviors one day.
So love your children,
and protect them everyday.

Remember, they are gifts,
from God up above.
To hold and cherish,
and raise them with love.

Proverbs 22:6
“Train up a child in the way he should go;
even when he is old he will not depart from it.”

Psalm 127:3
“Children are a heritage from the Lord,
the fruit of the womb a reward…
