Prayer Request

The word encourages us to pray for one another. One such verse is found in the book of James.

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

James 5:16 KJV

Confessing of faults though, has been one of the hardest things to do in recent times. Confidentiality vacated and trusting someone with our secrets became hard. This should never be the case and so I encourage us all today to be our brothers keeper. If someone should share a fault with you, it’s imperative that you bear them up in prayer, rather than share the story with the world. How would you feel if this was done to you?

Also, a note to the elders. Always be mindful that you too were young. Often times young people feel chastised by an elder because of the things they may say. Your experiences should equip you to be a strong helper and support for a needy youth. I admit that tough love is needed sometimes but through the wisdom of God, you can’t go wrong with your approach. THROUGH THE WISDOM OF GOD. NOT SELF. It is wrong to map onto others where you may have fell while it is wise to warn a person of potential outcomes. Accountability /counselling is a good thing but requires much wisdom and prayer.

With this, we are taking the opportunity to invite you to send us your prayer request. We will be happy to trust God with and for you in any situation. Please note that confidenliaty will be highly maintained. The depth of your request lies in your hands. You can be in detail or not. Come what may, we will be happy to pray for you.

Remember there is no distance in prayer and when we ask God with faith believing, it shall be done, according to the will of God. So send us your prayer request and we will lift you up before the throne of grace.
