The word encourages us to pray for one another. One such verse is found in the book of James.
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
James 5:16 KJV
Confessing of faults though, has been one of the hardest things to do in recent times. Confidentiality vacated and trusting someone with our secrets became hard. This should never be the case and so I encourage us all today to be our brothers keeper. If someone should share a fault with you, it’s imperative that you bear them up in prayer, rather than share the story with the world. How would you feel if this was done to you?
Also, a note to the elders. Always be mindful that you too were young. Often times young people feel chastised by an elder because of the things they may say. Your experiences should equip you to be a strong helper and support for a needy youth. I admit that tough love is needed sometimes but through the wisdom of God, you can’t go wrong with your approach. THROUGH THE WISDOM OF GOD. NOT SELF. It is wrong to map onto others where you may have fell while it is wise to warn a person of potential outcomes. Accountability /counselling is a good thing but requires much wisdom and prayer.
With this, we are taking the opportunity to invite you to send us your prayer request. We will be happy to trust God with and for you in any situation. Please note that confidenliaty will be highly maintained. The depth of your request lies in your hands. You can be in detail or not. Come what may, we will be happy to pray for you.
Remember there is no distance in prayer and when we ask God with faith believing, it shall be done, according to the will of God. So send us your prayer request and we will lift you up before the throne of grace.
Arise Woman Team.
“M” is for the million things she gave me,
“O” means only that she’s growing old,
“T” is for the tears she shed to save me,
“H” is for her heart of purest gold;
“E” is for her eyes, with love-light shining,
“R” means right, and right she’ll always be,
Put them all together, they spell
A word that means the world to me.
Happy Mothers Day from Arise Woman to every woman who has played a significant role in the life of a child.
Have a wonderful day!
Today is a day marked to celebrate us for which I am sure many women are grateful. However, as I take this time to celebrate all of my beautiful sisters, I am also using this piece to remind you that everyday should be your day. Everyday your efforts and contribution to life should be remembered and celebrated. Though we cannot tell people to celebrate us everyday, we can celebrate ourselves in the little things that we do. Take some time and pamper yourself. Appreciate yourself for truly you are a blessing to this earth. With this in mind, we at Arise Woman wish you an awesome International Women’s Day and beyond.
God bless all the beautiful ladies of the world. 🙂
It’s finally here…2014. Another year has begun and I am sure many of you would have set your “new year resolutions”. There are those who stick to the many “I won’ts and I will” but for the majority, it is always a struggle and by mid year you would hear the “I can’ts”.
How about we take a new approach this time around? Yes, there are many things we would like to change and trying to deal with them all at once may not be the best of ideas. Also understand as you desire to change, that you would have to let some things go. You cannot expect to change but keep things and people around you that has the traits in which you wish to let go. Let them go and fly.
Purpose to work on your changing daily as oppose to seasonal (e.g. Three month period). It can be done. You have the power and ability to do anything that you put your hearts and minds to, with God on your side.
2014 here we come, renewed, restored, regenerated, reinvigorated, revitalized, rehabilitated, redeemed and redressed for the life that God has already ordain for us.
HAPPY NEW YEAR FAMILY. LOTS OF LOVE FROM ARISE WOMAN.
Thank you so much for the continued support family. God bless you richly.
The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2013 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 12,000 times in 2013. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 4 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.
